Steps to Get Back Lost Photos from ZTE Phones

Step 1. Connect ZTE to computer and open usb debugging

Running the Android Data Recovery software on the computer after you install it, then go to "Android Data Recovery" recovery mode, connect ZTE device to the same computer by using a USB cable, you will see the below interface.

If you have enabled usb debugging, the software will detect your phone and go to next step, else the software will prompt you the steps to turn it on.

1. For Android 2.3 or earlier: Tap "Settings" > "Application" > "Development" > check "USB debugging".
2. For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Tap "Settings" > "Developer options" > check "USB debugging".
3. For Android 4.2 and latter: Tap "Settings", tab "Build number" for 7 times. Then back to "Settings" and choose "Developer options" > "USB debugging".

Step 2. Choose data type and root the phone

Next you need to tick the categories that you want to recover for scanning. Here you can tick "Gallery" and "Picture Library", untick other data type, then hit "Next" to begin the analyzing process.

After that, the software will analysis the phone and try to root it automatically, if it fail to root the phone, you need to root it manually. The software will prompt you to tap "Allow/Grant/Authorize" in the phone's screen, after hit it, the software will get permission to start scan the phone's internal memory data.

Step 3. Scan and restore picture for you

Now the software will start scan your phone in deep, after scanning, all "Gallery" and "Picture Library" will be showed on the left panel. Tap each one and preview all photos on the right side.
