Steps on How to Get Back Videos from HTC Phone

Step 1. Connect htc and open usb debugging

First all of, you need to launch the Android data recovery software on your computer after you install it, there are several options for you to choose in the windows, choose "Android Data Recovery" option. Then link your HTC U19e/U12/U11/U11 life/Desire 12+ and other models to the same PC with a USB cable, the program will detect your phone automatically if you turn on USB debugging.

If usb debugging did not been opened, the software will prompt a windows for you as below, follow the steps to enable usb debugging mode, tap the one according your Android OS version, then click "OK" button.

1. For Android 2.3 or earlier: Tap "Settings" > "Application" > "Development" > check "USB debugging".
2. For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Tap "Settings" > "Developer options" > check "USB debugging".
3. For Android 4.2 and latter: Tap "Settings", tab "Build number" for 7 times. Then back to "Settings" and choose "Developer options" > "USB debugging".

Step 2. Choose data type and analyze your phone

Now you will see the interface as follows, choose the file types to scan and restore. Here we tick off the box of "Videos and click "Next" to continue the process to scan your device.

In the new windows, you will see the software start to analyze your device, and it will root the phone, then you will see a pop-up on HTC phone's screen, tap "Allow/Grant/Authorize" and the software will get privilege to scan deleted files.

Step 3. Preview and recover videos

The software will scan your phone in deep after you finish above steps, it will take some times to scan it. When the scan is completed, you will see all existing and  deleted videos show in the right side of scan result, you can click "Only display the deleted item(s)" to show the deleted videos, then view each video in detail and tick the box of videos you want, click "Recover" button, choose a folder to save them to your computer.
