Step 1. Launch the Software and Plug HTC to computer
Launch the Android Data Recovery software after downloaded and installed it on the computer, select "Android Data Recovery" mode. Then plug HTC phone to computer via a USB cable.
Step 2. Allow USB debugging
You will see a pop-up message to ask you allow the USB debugging on the phone/tablet. If not, you can handily turn it on.
If you are Android 2.3 and earlier versions: Turn to "Settings" app > "Applications" > "Development" > "USB debugging".
If you are Android 3.0 - 4.1: Tap "Settings" > "Developer options" > "USB debugging".
If you are Android 4.2 and later versions: Go to "Settings"> "About phone". Choose "Build number" for several times until you see the message of "You are under developer mode". Then you should return to "Settings" > "Developer options" > "USB Debugging".
Step 3. Choose Photos to scan
After the program detect your device automatically, you will see the interface as follows. Choose the file types which you want to scan and restore. In order to recover photos, tick off the box of "Gallery" and "Picture Library", and then click "Next" to continue the process to scan your device.
